We are currently seeking a Building Services Engineer - Plumber to join our team, carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) across client sites in Milton Keynes.

Salary: up to £34770 depending on experience plus overtime and callout

Carry out planned and reactive plumbing and mechanical maintenance, servicing, and repair works
Ensure all works are completed in line with company procedures, current HVAC standards, and relevant legislation
Attend reactive call‑outs during normal working hours and as part of the on‑call rota
Maintain punctual site attendance, wearing issued PPE and company uniform at all times
Accurately diagnose faults and recommend follow‑up or remedial works where required
Submit clear, concise, and accurate job reports and completion notes
Complete and submit weekly timesheets in line with company requirements
Communicate effectively with Contracts Managers on job progress, issues, and completion
Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
Organise your own workload and manage time effectively to meet service expectations.
Proven experience as a plumbing or mechanical building services technician
Ability to carry out planned and reactive maintenance independently
Full UK driving licence
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload
Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
A reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
Willingness to participate in an on‑call rota
Qualifications & Technical Skills
Essential
Recognised trade background in plumbing or mechanical services
Good understanding of health and safety requirements within building services
Desirable
City & Guilds / NVQ in Plumbing or Mechanical Building Services
Electrical qualification or basic electrical awareness
Experience working in commercial or multi‑site environments
Knowledge of wider building services systems
