We are now looking for a Fabric Technician / Painting Engineer to join our night team at the prestigious Atria Watford shopping centre. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in high standards, enjoys a variety of tasks, and wants to grow within a supportive and professional team.

Work Monday to Friday on an 8-hour night shift (6:00 PM to 3:00 AM, including a 1-hour break), with flexibility required depending on task demands.
Complete painting and general building fabric repair works as directed.
Be available for occasional weekend work when required.
Maintain all fabric and painting-related aspects of the contract to a high standard.
Identify and report any additional works, and carry them out upon receiving authorisation.
Perform painting, tiling, grouting, and general building fabric repairs as needed.
Undertake both planned and reactive maintenance tasks across the site.
Procure materials and equipment through the Supervisor or Manager to complete works.
Accurately complete work sheets and ensure client sign-off where applicable.
Advise the client on minor additional works and assist in preparing cost estimates.
Maintain flexibility in working hours to accommodate urgent tasks.
Adhere to company Health & Safety policies and safe systems of work at all times.
Take on additional duties as required, in line with your skills and capabilities.
Demonstrates a solid understanding of Health & Safety regulations, including the importance of toolbox talks, Permit to Work procedures, and safe systems of work.
Understands the use and administration of a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) system
Licences: Must hold a valid 3A–3B Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) licence.
Willing and able to work flexible hours, including evenings and occasional weekends, to support operational needs.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
Holds relevant trade qualifications such as a time-served apprenticeship, City & Guilds (C&G), or equivalent.
