Acorn Engineering are seeking a skilled Painting & Building Fabric Engineer to join our team at Lakeside Shopping Centre. You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, including painting, tiling, grouting, and general fabric repairs.

Hours: 41.25 - Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Responsibilities
Complete painting and building fabric repair works as directed
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks
Procure materials and equipment through the Supervisor or Manager
Complete work sheets and obtain client authorisation
Identify and report additional works, compiling estimates as required
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies
Be flexible with working hours when necessary
Requirements
Relevant qualifications (e.g., time-served apprenticeship, City & Guilds or equivalent)
Understanding of Health & Safety regulations and safe systems of work
Experience with PPM systems
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Computer literate
MEWP Licence (3A–3B) essential
Strong communication skills
Physically capable of manual tasks, including working at heights and in confined spaces
